Obviously working for someone else isn?t very gratifying. When you?re in business for yourself that?s all you want to do. In fact, after we sold the businesses in Mexico a couple of years ago, I retired for the fifth time!
It sounds strange, but the longest I’ve ever retired for has been, literally, about one hour. It never works. Why am I telling you this?
Because buying businesses is intoxicating. It’s fun. When you do it, and get good at it, it’s all you want to do. And it’s not even close to being as mysterious or difficult as the media, the college professors or business tycoons on Wall Street try to make it out to be.
Arthur B. Hamel has bought over 200 businesses in the past 50 years, and is a well-known author, consultant, investor, business owner, and dynamic lecturer who has shared the stage with such business greats as Robert Allen of “No Money Down” fame. For the past 20 years Art has taught thousands of people around the world — even so-called “little guys” with no formal education or money — how to quickly and easily buy large, multi-million dollar businesses with no credit, banks or prior business experience.
